Where It Started

A Roundtable in 2001. A Family of Businesses Ever Since.

In 2001, our father founded the League of Entrepreneurs, a roundtable where he invited business owners into our home to speak to his kids. Some of us hadn't started high school yet. He was showing us a future none of us could see on our own.

Every Lopez-owned business below was born out of that roundtable. Cal Coast Water Damage is one of them. We treat your home the way we were taught to treat anything our family puts its name on.

The Family of Businesses

Independent. Lopez-Owned. Ever Expanding.

Each company below is independently owned and operated by a member of the family. They share a name, a lineage, and the same rule about how customers get treated.

Why It Matters to You

What a Family Business Actually Gives You

When your house is flooding at 2 AM, the difference between a family business and a franchise isn't sentimental. It's structural.

A franchise is a contract. A family business is a name. One is paid to perform. The other is paid in reputation. Our last name is on the truck.

The phone is answered

By a person who works here. Not by a dispatch service in another state reading from a script.

One operator, start to finish

The person who quotes the job runs the job. No handoffs to "the team." No story drift between the call and the work.

Reputation is the leverage

We can't expand to a new city next month to escape a bad review. We have to do this right because we have to live here.

The insurance file gets fought for

We document like the claim is going to be argued, because most of them are. Adjuster-ready paperwork is the default, not a favor.

What We Do, Where We Work, How We Run

What we do

Water damage restoration, mold remediation, flood cleanup, sewage backup cleanup, storm damage restoration, content cleaning and pack-out, and end-to-end insurance claim handling. All categories of water damage covered: Cat 1 clean water, Cat 2 gray water, and Cat 3 black water including sewage and rising groundwater. IICRC S500 and S520 standards followed on every project.

Where we work

All of San Diego County: San Diego, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Valley, Coronado, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Rancho Santa Fe, Poway, Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, Carmel Valley, Tierrasanta, Rancho Bernardo, Point Loma, La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Lakeside, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, National City, Chula Vista, Eastlake, Bonita, Imperial Beach. Response from central San Diego runs 15 to 45 minutes depending on region.

How we run a job

Six steps, IICRC S500 aligned: emergency response, source identification and stop, industrial extraction, structural drying to below 16% moisture content, EPA-registered antimicrobial sanitization, and full restoration back to pre-loss condition. Every step is documented with photos and moisture readings for the claim file.
