A Roundtable in 2001. A Family of Businesses Ever Since.
In 2001, our father founded the League of Entrepreneurs, a roundtable where he invited business owners into our home to speak to his kids. Some of us hadn't started high school yet. He was showing us a future none of us could see on our own.
Every Lopez-owned business below was born out of that roundtable. Cal Coast Water Damage is one of them. We treat your home the way we were taught to treat anything our family puts its name on.
Independent. Lopez-Owned. Ever Expanding.
Each company below is independently owned and operated by a member of the family. They share a name, a lineage, and the same rule about how customers get treated.
League of Entrepreneurs
A roundtable our father started in 2001. He invited business owners into our home to speak to his kids. Some of us hadn't started high school yet. Every Lopez-owned business you see below was born out of those conversations.

The original Cal Coast. Full-service construction on California's Central Coast. CSLB License #905391. The business that gave the rest of us a name to build on.
Cal Coast Rentals
Heavy equipment rental for the trades. Skid steers, excavators, and the iron work that turns a restoration job into a full rebuild. Built by Jeremy to serve construction, restoration, and contractors who need gear on the job today, not next week.
Lemonade Construction
The family's Idaho construction company. Built by Josh on the same Lopez standard. Different state line, same name on the truck.
Custom Cleaners

What a Family Business Actually Gives You
When your house is flooding at 2 AM, the difference between a family business and a franchise isn't sentimental. It's structural.
A franchise is a contract. A family business is a name. One is paid to perform. The other is paid in reputation. Our last name is on the truck.
The phone is answered
By a person who works here. Not by a dispatch service in another state reading from a script.
One operator, start to finish
The person who quotes the job runs the job. No handoffs to "the team." No story drift between the call and the work.
Reputation is the leverage
We can't expand to a new city next month to escape a bad review. We have to do this right because we have to live here.
The insurance file gets fought for
We document like the claim is going to be argued, because most of them are. Adjuster-ready paperwork is the default, not a favor.
